damn those are sweet! This brings back memories of my first life drawing workshop at LucasArts. I looked over and saw you doing these quick gouache studies and flipped out. I was completely blown away. Your gouache paintings are as inspiring now as they were back then.

thanks bob. i remember having the same feelings looking at your sketchbook back then. especially this one night time painting you did in london or something. good times, those times.

Great gouache paintings! Do you ever have showings in the bay area for your personal work?

bajel said...

thanks jackson, your stuff looks awesome. i do show from time to time, though theres not much in the works till december 2007. gonna do a show with some friends at a nice gallery here in SF, we are each painting 100 small paintings so there will be like 700 little paintings to look at. also will probably have a group show with my hickee friends in montreal and portland sometime this year, possibly here in SF too if we can hook up a gallery in april, during this years APE. thanks for looking.

Both of these rock hard. It's shows greatness to make a simple painting of a house intresting. Bravo!

Did I say both? I meant all. ;-)
